Sports fields closed by heavy rains

The City of Penticton says due to heavy rainfall sports fields are closed today and tomorrow.

Parks staff will continue to monitor weather and field conditions.

The closure applies to all sports fields, including ball diamonds. The beach volleyball courts remain open.

The City asks everyone to remain off the fields to keep playing surfaces in good condition.
