Woman struck by truck while cycling

A cyclist was struck by a marked City of Penticton pickup truck Tuesday morning, Aug. 11.

The woman was riding a bicycle at the intersection of Green Avenue and Skaha Lake Road at about 8:30 a.m.

Emergency responders are at the scene and the woman is responsive.

There’s no word yet on the extent of her injuries.

We will provide more details as they come in.
