-Graham Jones was the hero in this game, as he scored the tying goal early in the 3rd period, and then added his 2nd of the game 50 seconds into the extra frame as the Vees knocked off the Giants 3-2. Tyler Deakos scored the other Vee goal, while Penticton native Mathis Preston scored one of the Vancouver goals. A.J. Reyelts made 14 saves in goal, and picked up the win.

SATURDAY – Penticton 4, Tri-City 2

-Your Vees built up a 3-0 lead early in the 2nd period before Tri-City rallied with a pair of goals to make it close, but an empty-netter sealed a 4-2 win for Penticton. For the 2nd straight night, Graham Jones scored twice to pace the Vees. Gavin Katz and Tyden Bergerson also scored for Penticton, while Kaenan Smith made 12 saves for the victory in between the pipes.

The home-stand continues tomorrow night for your Vees, as the Swift Current Broncos will be in town. An earlier puck drop too, at 6:30, so get your tickets from valleyfirsttix.com. See you there!
