Alberta RCMP investigators say they are following several possible movements in their search for two missing children believed to be travelling with two adults.
Police said Lanakai Morrison and Karl Morrison are believed to be with the children’s mother, Krista Morrison and Karl’s father, Daniel Ludwig, who are wanted on allegations of abduction in contravention of a custody or parenting order.
Investigators said there were indications the group had been in the Okanagan Valley near Vernon, B.C., and may have been travelling east toward the Kootenays. Police said they are highly mobile and could now be anywhere in northern B.C., Yukon or Alberta.
Police believe the group was last travelling in either a red 2006 Ford F-350 pickup truck with a lift kit and oversized tires or a motorhome.
Lanakai is described as six years old with a slight build, long light brown hair and brown eyes.
Karl is described as four years old with blonde hair.
Krista Morrison, 35, is described as five feet eight inches tall with a medium build, long dark brown hair and brown eyes.
Daniel Ludwig, 35, is described as five feet 11 inches tall with a large build, brown hair and brown eyes.
