7-Eleven sandwiches and wraps recalled in B.C. due to listeria

A recall has been issued in multiple provinces for 7-Eleven brand sandwiches and wraps due to possible listeria contamination.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) said Tuesday the recall applies to 16 products sold in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan, including subs, wraps and breakfast-style english muffin sandwiches.

All the products have best-before dates ranging from April 12 to 15, 2026.

Consumers are being advised to throw out the recalled products or return them to the store where they were purchased.

The CFIA said the recall was trigged by the company, and there have been no reported illnesses.

The agency said it is conducting an investigation and notes more products could be recalled.

It said that food contaminated with listeria may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache, and neck stiffness. Severe cases of listeria infection can be fatal.
