For half a century, Recope has been helping people living with health challenges improve their physical health, regain confidence, and build meaningful social connections. This year, the local charity is celebrating its 50th Anniversary, marking five decades of making a lasting difference in the lives of thousands throughout the South Okanagan.
To commemorate this milestone, Recope is inviting the community to An Evening of Celebration on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Summerland Heritage Cider Company.
The 50th Anniversary celebration offers residents an opportunity not only to recognize the organization’s legacy but also to invest in its future. Proceeds from the evening will help Recope continue expanding access to programs that enhance health, independence, and social connection throughout the region.
