B.C. officials provided a provincial update Tuesday this morning as major wildfires in the Okanagan have forced thousands of people from their homes and prompted widespread evacuation orders and alerts.
Emergency Management and Climate Readiness Minister Kelly Greene, Forests Minister Ravi Parmar and Agriculture and Food Minister Lana Popham took part, along with provincial subject matter experts, and discussed wildfires and other seasonal hazards affecting B.C.
