Drivers in Kelowna and Peachland can expect traffic delays Saturday morning as hundreds of vehicles take part in the annual Okanagan Dream Rally.
Kelowna RCMP said delays are expected between 10:30 a.m. and noon, particularly at major intersections along Highway 97 between Kelowna and Peachland, as the charity rally makes its way through the Central Okanagan.
B.C. Highway Patrol motorcycle officers will assist with traffic control as participants travel from Prospera Place in Kelowna to the turnaround point on Beach Avenue in Peachland.
Motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time, plan alternate routes where possible and follow directions from police officers and traffic control personnel.
The Okanagan Dream Rally features a parade of high-end vehicles and raises money in support of charitable organizations throughout the Okanagan.

More information about the event and route is available on the Okanagan Dream Rally website.
