RCMP investigating fatal fire in Keremeos

On May 12, 2026, shortly after 3:00 pm, Keremeos RCMP say they responded to a residential fire within Keremeos.

Mounties say one individual was located deceased as a result of the fire.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Keremeos RCMP say no further updates will be provided as the investigation continues
