Penticton sports fields re opened

The City of Penticton Parks department has reopened all outdoor sports fields following yesterday’s closures due to heavy rainfall.

User groups are welcome to resume activities. As conditions may still vary, The City warns everyone to use the fields at their own discretion.

The City also asks users to continue to respect the playing surfaces and help maintain field quality by avoiding use if conditions appear too wet or susceptible to damage.
