Osoyoos sets new May 3 heat record

A new daily temperature record was set in the Osoyoos area on May 3.

Environment and Climate Change Canada data shows the temperature reached 31.4 C at the Osoyoos climate station, breaking the previous record of 30.5 C set in 2023.

Records for the area date back to 1954.
