Vista Radio is proud to present Made and Played in Canada in partnership with The Needful Music, a national initiative dedicated to supporting, showcasing, and amplifying emerging Canadian artists across the country.
At the heart of the initiative is a new digital hub, MadeAndPlayedInCanada.ca, where Canadian musicians of all genres can submit their original music for consideration for airplay. The website also serves as a growing discovery platform where listeners can explore and hear exciting new artists from communities across Canada.
Radio has always played a powerful role in introducing audiences to new music. Made and Played in Canada is about strengthening that role, creating a real and meaningful space for Canadian artists who may not otherwise have a national platform and giving listeners a trusted place to discover music from their own backyard.
The initiative will live both on air and online. As the program rolls out, listeners will discover features spotlighting new Canadian artists, along with interviews and storytelling that provide insight into their journeys and inspirations.
At the same time, the MadeAndPlayedInCanada.ca website will grow into a dynamic library of emerging talent alongside podcast episodes highlighting the program.
