These were B.C.’s most popular baby names in 2025

Noah reclaimed the top spot as the most popular baby name in British Columbia this year.

Noah was also the most popular name in 2022 and 2023, but was briefly overtaken by Oliver in 2024.

B.C.’s Vital Statistics Agency said Tuesday Oliver fell to second place on this year’s list of the top 10 most popular names for newborns.

Also on the list are Theodore, Liam, Olivia, Charlotte, Jack, Henry, Sophia and James.

The agency said 41,557 babies were registered as born in B.C. from Jan 1st to Dec 15. this year.
