Vees Christmas Classic

One more Vees game before the holiday break, but, a quick review of their U.S weekend road trip!:

FRIDAY – Vees 5, Seattle 1

-A pair of 1st period goals from Ryden Evers set the pace, as the Vees dropped Seattle. Matteo Danis, Tristan Petersen and Doogan Pederson rounded out the Penticton scoring.

SATURDAY – Vees 8, Portland 1.

-A monster night, and career game for Matteo Danis, as he scored 4 times, and added 2 assists for a big 6 point night in the Vees’ lopsided win over Portland. Boomer DeMars, Ryden Evers, Jacob Kvasnicka and Tristan Petersen also all found the back of the net, while Brady Birnie added 3 assists.

SUNDAY – Portland 4, Penticton 0.

-It was a big bounce back win for the Winterhawks on Sunday as goaltender Cruz Chase made 37 saves to lead Portland to the shutout win, ending the Vees win streak at 3.

TONIGHT – The high-flying Prince George Cougars are at the SOEC for the Canco Christmas Class, with a 6:30 puck drop. Wear your ugly Christmas sweaters, and bring along a toy donation as well for a shot to win a $250 Canco fuel card. It is the last game before Christmas for the Vees, so let’s get a great crowd out to cheer on Penticton to another victory!
