LETHBRIDGE 5, VEES 2.

-A tough one Wednesday night at the SOEC as the Vees ran into a hot goaltender and fell to the Lethbridge Hurricanes 5-2. Koen Cleaver made an amazing 40 saves, as the Vees outshot the ‘Canes 42-19. Brittan Alstead and Nolan Stevenson were the only Vees to find the back of the net in the loss.

Local hockey product Mathis Preston, a projected 1st round pick in next June’s NHL Entry Draft, will play his 1st game against his hometown team.
